The purpose of this document is to provide instructions to our data entry specialists on the tasks needed to complete the HMS Template data entry project. It will include the below instructions as well as video showing the steps needed to review, copy and then paste the data into onverity.
1. Download USA Homegauge here
2. Install homegauge into default location (documents) 3. After install, open windows directory. Find documents. After install, homegauge should have all installation files within Documents under "HMA Homegauge" 4. Open HMA Homegauge, find templates folder. 5. Copy and paste the template you received via email from FBO into templates folder. Make sure it is named accordingly. 6. After you have the file within the templates folder, You can then open homegauge. 7. Within homegauge, to the left, you will see select template. 8. Select the template you just added into the template folder respectively by name. 9. Once this template is open, you can see all the components to the left. 10. The order of the components to the left is the order of how the respective users components will order in their onverity template. 11. You should have homegauge on one side of your screen and onverity on the other to rearrange the template in on onverity for the user. 12. Make sure that you have created a new template copying the Global Master Template in Onverity for each user. Name it based on the users first or last name. (Note- This needs to be completed for each inspector. Create a new global master template and name it according to each users name. 13. After the components are arranged correctly, start with the first component to the left. Once clicked, the elements will show to the screen on the right. (Example, click on Roofing). (Note- Delete any component or element in onverity template if they are not present in Homegauge template.) 14. Next you will verify each element per component that the same is available in the template for the respective user in onverity. (Example, 1.0 ROOFING) 15. Next, you will verify each comment per element. When you select the element, there is a wand symbol, if the mouse is hovered over it, you will see the title show, "insert auto comment". Open this and you will then be presented with all comments for this element (1.0 Roofing). 16. Copy each comment over to the respective users comments in onverity. 17. To access Comments in onverity, go to settings, inspection report, then comments. Select new comment and enter the details from homegauge with the respective detail for this user. Important Updates: Attention- Please make sure to copy each respective template from Homegauge into Onverity by creating a new template within the respective inspectors onverity account and naming it respectively. You will copy the Global Master template for all inspectors newly created template in Onverity. Attention- Please make sure to complete a uniform naming convention. Place key words in the template. If the template is called "Standard home inspection" and is for John Doe, when creating the onverity template, name it Standard Home Inspection - Doe with a description of: Data Entry, so we know it was completed by your team. Attention- Please make sure to copy the template name from the onedrive folder and paste it into the excel sheet in column N or O to verify the correct template was attached.
