Repair Estimate Report and Repair list Generator Tips for success

As part of its report delivery and Cloud service, HouseMaster provides its customers with the Repair List Generator (RLG) – a tool that allows homebuyers to develop a list of action items based on the inspection findings and Repair Estimator Report (RER) – a tool that allows homebuyers to develop an estimate of requested repairs. These lists and estimates can be used as part of the inspection purchase process or simply to develop a personal action list.  Once the link to the RLG is selected from the Cloud menu, homebuyers will be presented with a review of the included in the Report Summary so they (and/or their agent) can create a list of repairs that can be shared with their agent or other real estate professionals, as well as home sellers. (Repair Estimator Report is only available to customers: agents and clients of the report.)

There might be instances where the tools listed above do not properly show on your computer. This article will explain a few tricks to make sure they function correctly.

While RLG & RER will work on most browsers, they work best with Google’s Chrome. If you experience issues accessing the Repair List Generator or Repair Estimator Report, switch to another common browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.

If you click on either the Repair list Generator or Repair Estimator and nothing appears after clicking, It might be because you are not logged in or your browsers pop up blocker.

The cloud allows customers and agents access to their reports with out a full log in. Please make sure that you are manually entering in username and password to access your account. If you look up to the top right and see “Log in”, you are not logged in and would still need to do so in order to use these tools. Once logged in, click on "Inspection report". Once this page is loaded, to the right, you will see "Repair Estimate report" and "Repair list generator".
